What makes a good description

Readers see only the first few lines before "Read more", so the hook does most of the work. After the hook, say what the book is about, who it is for, and what happens next. End with a clear call to action.

Amazon does not allow review quotes, pricing, time-sensitive claims, requests for reviews, contact details or sales-rank claims in descriptions. The rule check below your result flags these before you upload.

Frequently asked questions

Does this write my description for me?

It arranges what you give it into a proven structure: a hook, the story or promise, who it is for, and a call to action. The wording stays yours, so it reads like your book.

Which HTML does Amazon allow in descriptions?

A small set of tags such as bold, italic, paragraphs and lists. The builder produces only those and counts characters against the limit.

Is the output unique?

It is built from your own text, so it is as unique as your input. Avoid pasting reviews, prices or promotional claims, which Amazon does not allow in descriptions.
